2 Corinthians 10:9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.

Titus 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled,not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable,and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Titus 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity,in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness,not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Titus 2:6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewinguncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrarypart may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Titus 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, toobey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meeknessunto all men.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of thingsin the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, thesethings ought not so to be.
11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs?so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him itis sin.
