2 Corinthians 11:6 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge;but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
2 Corinthians 12:19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would,and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and tha tI shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient:but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritualsongs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Ephesians 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearingthreatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is thererespect of persons with him.
Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I mayopen my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly,as I ought to speak.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice,blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with hisdeeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after theimage of him that created him:
Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming thetime.
6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may knowhow ye ought to answer every man.
2 Thessalonians 3:12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by ourLord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
1 Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man,but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, forunholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, formanslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers,for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that iscontrary to sound doctrine;
1 Timothy 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man,but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Timothy 3:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, notgiven to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
1 Timothy 3:11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober,faithful in all things.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of thebelievers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, inpurity.
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy,with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profitingmay appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: forin doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words,even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is accordingto godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes ofwords, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth,supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith,charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do genderstrifes.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men,apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventurewill give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, whoare taken captive by him at his will.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shallcome.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turnaway.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive sillywomen laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist thetruth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest untoall men, as theirs also was.
Titus 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled,not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may beable by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially theyof the circumcision:
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching thingswhich they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians arealway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may besound in the faith;
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turnfrom the truth.
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled andunbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable,and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Titus 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity,in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness,not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Titus 2:6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewinguncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrarypart may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared toall men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should livesoberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the greatGod and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, andpurify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let noman despise thee.
Titus 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, toobey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meeknessunto all men.

James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear,slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, andreceive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not histongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visitthe fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspottedfrom the world.
James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the lawof liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy;and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receivethe greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the sameis a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; andwe turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven offierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoeverthe governor listeth.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold,how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue amongour members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the courseof nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of thingsin the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, whichare made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, thesethings ought not so to be.
11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs?so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands,ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall liftyou up.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of hisbrother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeththe law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, buta judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thouthat judgest another?
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city,and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life?It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanishethaway.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this,or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him itis sin.
James 5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned:behold, the judge standeth before the door.

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies,and envies, all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may growthereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereasthey speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, whichthey shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
1 Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatenednot; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we,being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes yewere healed.
1 Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwiseblessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit ablessing.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elementsshall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are thereinshall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner ofpersons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein theheavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt withfervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and anew earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligentthat ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even ashe walked.
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue;but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our heartsbefore him.
Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodlyamong them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed,and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken againsthim.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; andtheir mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admirationbecause of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostlesof our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, whoshould walk after their own ungodly lusts.
